WORLD-RENOWNED ORTHOPAEDIC CARE COMING TO CULLMAN, AL
-New location to be staffed by Dr. Monte Ketchum and Dr. Marcus A. Rothermich-
CULLMAN, Ala. – Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center is pleased to announce the upcoming January 6, 2020 opening of its newest clinic located in Cullman, Alabama.
Located at 1301-A Bridge Creek Drive NE, Andrews Sports Medicine-Cullman is adjacent to Eva Road and easily accessible from Highway 157 and I-65.
Andrews Sports Medicine is occupying space alongside ATI Physical Therapy in the new 6,000+ square-foot building constructed by CHJ Properties LLC, and local developers, Dr. Clancy Johnson and Randy Johnson.
“We are thrilled to be opening a Cullman clinic to better serve Cullman County.,” said Lisa Warren, CEO of Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center.
Warren goes on to state, “The clinic will be staffed by the two most recent doctors to join our practice – Dr. Monte Ketchum and Dr. Marcus A. Rothermich. Both doctors received their fellowship training at Andrews Sports Medicine and officially joined our practice this past October.”
Monte Ketchum, DO is a non-surgical sports medicine & orthopaedic physician. He treats all types of orthopaedic issues, including sports-related and non-sports-related injuries and osteoarthritis in joints. Dr. Ketchum performs various ultrasound-guided injections, including viscosupplementation for osteoarthritis of joints and platelet-rich plasma therapy for tendon and ligament injuries and arthritic conditions.
“I’m thankful for the opening of Andrews Sports Medicine’s Cullman location. My wife, Ashley Ketchum, is a pediatrician at Internal Medicine and Pediatrics of Cullman. We recently settled into our new Cullman home this past summer. Ashley and I are both excited to be a part of this great community and eager to serve patients in our new hometown,” said Dr. Ketchum.
Marcus A. Rothermich, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He has extensive training in both general orthopaedic surgery and complex sports medicine techniques. Dr. Rothermich has a particular interest in elbow reconstruction in overhead athletes, rotator cuff repairs, complex knee surgery and total joint replacement. He is excited to return to Alabama after working in private practice in Florida, where he served as a consultant to the New York Mets and as the team doctor for their local minor league affiliate.
“During the last few months, I’ve had the opportunity to meet a lot of great folks from Cullman County.
