Spine Fusion
My name is Cory D. Moon. I am a Captain for Birmingham Fire & Rescue Service. I have 15 years of service. Prior to Dr. Cordover performing ALIF Surgery (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion) on me, I had been suffering with back pain (bulging discs) for 15 years.
Over the past 15 years I tried just about every back pain remedy known to man to relieve my back pain including: Heat packs, cold packs, physical therapy, chiropractic, pain medication & multiple pain blocks, none of these relived my pain. The pain had gotten so severe over the years, that I thought I would never be without pain.
In November 2015, I was introduced to Dr. Cordover. Dr. Cordover examined me and told me he thought I would be a good candidate for ALIF Surgery. I had the surgery on December 17, 2015. I returned to full duty for the Fire Service 4 months later on March 17, 2016. My back now feels better than it has ever felt!!! Dr. Cordover has drastically improved my quality of life!
