Knee Replacement (Total)

I have had several knee scopes in the past and the pain got so bad I could hardly walk I was having to take pain meds daily just to try and ease the pain. I went to Dr. Cain and he told me I needed a total knee replacement.

On May 2, 2017 Dr. Cain did my surgery. The day after surgery I was able to do double the exercise that therapy had me to do, starting out at 50 on the cpm machine. I took very little pain medicine while in the hospital. I was off the walker in one week and the cane in two weeks.

Today - September 17, 2017 - my family and I went hiking at Dismal Canyons. You have to walk down about 100 steps to get to the canyons and then hike through the canyons and backup the 100 steps. I was able to do this with my family for the first time in so many years and not have any pain. I think that says a lot about Dr. Cain's work. People were amazed when I told them I was just 4 months post-op of a total knee replacement.

Dr. Cain thank you so much for giving me my quality of life back. I am looking forward to our next hiking trip.
I am at work today after a busy fun-filled day yesterday and still no pain. I will forever be grateful.
