University of Alabama gymnast Love Birt entered her freshman year with momentum, a strong preseason, and the goal of making an immediate impact for the Crimson Tide. That momentum came to a sudden halt when a season-ending injury forced her to miss the entire 2025 season before she ever made her collegiate debut.
A former Junior U.S. National Team member and Junior Olympics national qualifier from Camden, Delaware, Love faced one of the toughest challenges of her athletic career—watching from the sidelines while continuing to support her team. Despite the setback, she remained a constant presence, earning praise from coaches and teammates for her leadership, resilience, and commitment to the program.
Under the care of Dr. Lyle Cain at Andrews Sports Medicine, Love focused on recovery, rebuilding strength, and preparing both mentally and physically for her return. Her rehabilitation journey reflects the heart of Andrews Sports Medicine’s mission: helping athletes at every level recover, return, and compete with confidence.
Today, Love is healthy, motivated, and ready to compete with renewed purpose—proof that setbacks don’t define an athlete, but comebacks do.
