
Emily earned her bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine from Samford University and her master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Florida. She completed a variety of clinical rotations, including Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Emergency Medicine.
As a Physician Assistant, she works alongside Dr. Charles C. Pitts in clinic and assists him in both the clinic and operating room. She plays an integral role in evaluating patients, coordinating treatment plans, and supporting patients throughout their orthopedic care.
Emily is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. She has experience caring for patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including rotator cuff injuries, spinal stenosis, spondylosis, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. She is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care while ensuring each patient feels informed, supported, and confident throughout every step of their treatment and recovery.
