Certified Medical Assistant

Our Birmingham clinic offices are looking for a “rock star” medical assistant in our non-surgical physician department. Our ideal candidate would have some clinical experience, preferably in orthopeadics. This staff member will assist with patient care in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include scheduling/pre-certing tests, drawing up injections, answering medically related questions from incoming patients, coaches and other physicians. In addition, they will assist our surgeon with in-office procedures including ultrasound and fitting DME. The hours are Monday-Friday.

Marketing & PR Internship

Our practice offers Marketing & PR internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-volume sports medicine and orthopaedic practice.

We are currently accepting resumes for the following internship terms:

  • Fall 2026 (August – December 202
  • Spring 2027 (January – May 2027)

Interns will have the opportunity to gain exposure to sports medicine, healthcare marketing, public relations, community engagement, digital communications, and practice operations while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic healthcare environment.
