My name is Edward Cheshire and I am from Dothan, Alabama. I enjoy various outdoor activities like hunting and fishing.

I sought out help from Andrews Sports Medicine when I started experiencing severe neck pain. After my injury, I tried physical therapy to help with the issue but it didn’t help. I knew I needed to see a physician. When I was asked what led me to see Dr. Cordover, I knew I wanted to go somewhere in Birmingham and my wife had researched him on the Andrews website. We read more about him and watched his video bio and knew he would be a great doctor to see.

From the minute I spoke with an Andrews Sports Medicine staff member on the phone to my interaction with all staff members in the office, everyone was very courteous and concerned for me about my issue. During my first office visit, Dr. Andrew Cordover came into the exam room, and with his sense of humor, we hit it off from the get go. Dr. Cordover examined me, took x-rays, and showed them to me explaining what exactly was going on with me.

I scheduled a follow-up appointment with Dr. Cordover and we discussed and set up a surgery date. He and his staff made me feel safe and comfortable. I knew I was in good hands.

Fast forward, it has been 2 months since my injury and my neck pain is gone. There is no numbness or tingling in my fingers. Before and after surgery Dr. Cordover spent a lot of time with me. Dr. Cordover definitely cares for his patients and I will definitely go back to him if I ever have any neck or spine issues.
