Conditions + Treatments

My name is John Rossman, and I’m a 57-year-old natural bodybuilder from Minnesota. Fitness has always been a part of my life. I grew up active in sports, but it wasn’t until college that I truly found my passion in bodybuilding.
In 1994, I stepped on stage for my first natural bodybuilding competition—and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Over the years, my journey has had its share of challenges. I suffered from neck and back injuries that eventually led to surgeries for degenerative disc issues. Dr. Cordova helped me through those tough moments, but recovery wasn’t easy. I had to rebuild—physically and mentally. But I stayed committed, and step by step, I made my way back.
Today, I’m proud to say I’m in the best shape of my life. I work closely with a nutrition coach, eat a clean, whole-foods-based diet, and avoid anything processed or full of preservatives.
My body fat is down to about 5%, and every day I show up with discipline and intention—not just for myself, but for those watching me.
I’m also a husband and a father. I’ve helped my wife adopt healthier habits, and I’ve encouraged my 14-year-old son, William, to get into athletics—especially football. More than anything, I want to show him the value of hard work, consistency, and pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone.
I’ve earned multiple pro cards in bodybuilding, but more important than the titles is the journey. For me, this is a comeback story. I’ve learned that age doesn’t define your limits—your mindset does.
With discipline, proper nutrition, and faith in the process, it’s never too late to become your strongest self.
