Medical Icon Broken Leg

On October 23, 2015, my high school football career ended. Playing QB for the Hewitt Trussville Huskies, we were going up against the biggest name in Alabama high school football, the Hoover Bucs. At the start of the second quarter we were down. I was running the ball right when a freak accident happened. I landed on my leg weird, and I broke my left Tibia and Fibula. So much emotion came with this injury. I was rushed to Saint Vincent's Hospital that night and was put into surgery. All I could do was pray and know that God has me and has a plan in store for me to live my life to the fullest. I was put into surgery that night with the best doctors in the nation. I couldn't be more thankful for that. They promised me, after putting a titanuim rod and three screws in my leg, I would be heathy and ready to contuine my football career at the next level.

With many countless hours at physical therapy, I would like to thank Krista for all she has done for me. She put me back on the field and made me work my tail off to be better, faster and stronger. So on February 3, 2016, God blessed me with signing a full-ride football scholarship to Appalachian State University. Without my savior Jesus Christ, I wouldn't be where I am today and He has blessed me in so many different ways. Now, I'm working out and leaving to go to college in 11 days and 100%. My leg has never felt better. I want to thank all of my family, especially my mom, dad and brother for all the support they have given me through this time.
