Chicago White Sox first baseman Tim Elko recently underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee. The procedure was performed by Dr. Lyle Cain at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
According to SI.com’s Jack Ankoy, the estimated recovery time for Elko’s injury is approximately eight months.
