Katie earned her bachelor's degree in biology and her master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University. She completed a variety of clinical rotations including her final one at Andrews Sports Medicine.
As a Physician Assistant, she works alongside Dr. Emily Bell Casey and Dr. Andrew Cordover in clinic. She is able to assist both physicians in clinic and Dr. Cordover in the operating room.
Katie says, "I absolutely love what I do. I consider it the highest honor to be trusted with people’s care. Throughout my life, I have had multiple orthopaedic problems that brought me into contact with PAs. Each interaction I had with a PA involved being listened to, understood, and had someone who would team up with me to get me better. After these encounters, I knew I wanted to be able to do the same thing for other people who were in my shoes."
Katie enjoys spending time with her husband Mason and their dog, going on walks, and reading.
