Certified Athletic Trainer
We’re seeking a certified athletic trainer with 3-5+ years clinical experience, preferably in orthopaedics. This staff member will assist one of non-surgical sports medicine doctors, assisting with patient care in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include scheduling/pre-certing tests, drawing up injections, answering medically-related questions from incoming patients, coaches and other physicians. The hours are M-F days.

Non-Surgical Appointment Scheduler (Located in Cullman, AL)
This staff member will book, coordinate and schedule patient appointments for our non-surgical sports medicine physicians. Needs a keen ability to communicate with patients, clinicians and physicians. Have knowledge of human anatomy. Will need to be proficient with Microsoft Word. 2- years doctor’s office experience requested but not required. Experience in sports medicine/orthopedics a plus. The hours are M-F days.

R.T. Floyd ASMI Athletic Training Residency Program - NEW!

Program Background
The R.T. Floyd ASMI Athletic Training Residency Program was established with the intent of impacting athletic trainers in the clinical sports medicine field. Our goal is to lay the foundation of providing residents with the educational and clinical knowledge to create life-long learners and the ability to provide quality patient care.
Description
This 12-month residency program will entail clinical and didactic experiences as well as scholarly curriculum. Residents will rotate with surgical and non-surgical orthopedic physicians at the world-renowned Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center. Education and training will augment existing knowledge of athletic trainers and will further focus on developing clinical and technical acumen in the sports medicine specialty.

To foster comprehensive, effective and optimal patient care through a deeper understanding of orthopaedic sports medicine through evidence-based clinical practices.
Residency Program Vision
To provide a renowned residency program for post-graduate certified athletic trainers focused on producing proficient clinicians with an excellent fundamental experience and knowledge base in orthopaedic sports medicine.
Certified Medical Assistant
This staff member will assist one of our surgeons. Will assist with patient care in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include scheduling /pre-certing tests, drawing up injections, answering medically-related questions from incoming patients, coaches and other physicians. Will assist the surgeon with in-office procedures including ultrasound and will fit DME. 2-3 years’ experience preferred, but not required. Orthopedic knowledge a plus. The hours are M-F days.

Student Observation Program
Please Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we limiting new participants in this program until further notice.
Our practice routinely provides college students (and select high school students in health-related classes) who are interested in sports medicine & orthopaedics the opportunity to observe various departments within our organization. This program provides students with insight on the day-to-day activities of a high-volume sports medicine & orthopaedics practice.
Step #1: If you would like to be considered, the first step is to complete our online student observation request form. CLICK HERE to submit your online student observation form.
Step #2: If you are accepted to participate in the Student Observation Program (SOP), you will be contacted by phone. At that point, you will instructed to download, print and complete the below SOP registration packet. You will need to bring the entire completed and signed registration packet with you on your assigned observation day.

Marketing & PR Internship
Our practice has two (2) Marketing & PR internships available for the 2021 Spring (January - May) and Summer (June - August) semesters. We are currently accepting resumes for undergraduate and graduate students interesting in gaining experience in a fast-paced, high-volume sports medicine & orthopaedic practice.
