Daryl is a native of Birmingham and graduated with honors from Auburn University. After college she came back to the Magic City to work for several years at a local pain management clinic. She returned to the University of South Alabama to complete the Physician Assistant program, graduating with a Master’s degree in Health Sciences. She started looking into different aspects of healthcare once she graduated. She always knew she wanted to be involved in healthcare from a young age.

She works alongside Dr. Andrew Cordover and Dr. Charles Carnel. She is a former student-athlete with a firsthand outlook on the challenges of coping with orthopaedic injuries. Her experiences as a patient have driven her passion for sports medicine and orthopaedics.

Daryl chose to be a PA because it offered so many different paths in the healthcare industry. Direct patient access, direct patient care, and the moving between specialties and flexibility is what inspired her to choose this as her path.

She and her husband Adam have been married since 2016 and they have two sons, James and Logan. Daryl loves running, spending time with family and going to Auburn. Daryl and her family enjoy going skiing in the winter and going to the beach during the summer.

Daryl is a member of the North American Spine Society.

Certification:

Board Certified, National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
